Mr.P.Joseph Leo Peter (Founder)

The college was established in 2007 by the late Mr. P.Joseph Leo Peter, founder and trustee of Ponnusamy Nadar Educational Trust, with the aim of achieving high ideals for future teachers. Ponnusamy Nadar college of Education promoted by Mr.P.Joseph Leo Peter, Founder and Managing Trustee of Ponnusamy Nadar Educational Trust. He was very much in interested in developing Educational Institutions of Excellence, catering to the needs of the rural youth.

As part of his vision to offer quality education, he came forward to start a college of Education to generate quality teachers who mould young people into responsible citizens of the nation. Ponnusamy Nadar college of Education is committed to ensure an overall development of student teachers.

Mr.J.Reginald Ebenezer.,B.E.,M.B.A.,M.S.,B.Ed.

From 2017 on, the college was taken over by our secretary (the founder's son), Mr. J.Reginald Ebenezer.

Teaching profession which is one of the noblest professions at par with Medical profession. But selecting the profession is just the beginning. Practising the profession with passion and dedication is what ultimately makes you a great teacher. If we see our history we have come across a lot of great teachers like Confucius, Socrates, Anne Sullivan, Dr S.Radhakrishnan and our own Dr. APJ.Abdul kalam.

What these great teachers had in common is the passion they had for teaching. Therefore, as a Secretary my wish is that our students should become exceptional teachers. All the best.

We are moving forward with the support of our young trustee. He finished his schooling in Don Bosco Mat.Hr.sec. school. He did his M.B.B.S. in Sri Ramachandra Medical college, Porur. He is pursuing his Masters in Radiation Oncology.

A very able administrator, dedicated, hardworking. She has played a key role in the growth of the college. She has a masters in Computer Application and has also finished her M.Ed. from TNTEU. She is a Supporter and innovator of this college.
